What our agreements refer to

Published terms

When one of our agreements mentions a notice period, a fee or a deadline, this is where that figure lives. All of it is readable before you sign anything and without an account, because terms you cannot read have not been disclosed to you, whatever a document says about it.

  • Attendance and satisfactory progress, adult programs

Version 1, in force from September 9, 2026

What attendance means in an adult program, how progress is reviewed, and what happens before anybody is withdrawn. Sponsored learners should read the last two rows: what we report to a sponsor is narrower than people expect.

  • Camp tuition, cancellation and refund

Version 1, in force from September 9, 2026

Camp is staffed and provisioned from the enrollment list, so the schedule below gets firmer as the start approaches. All of it is disclosed before you pay.

  • Cancellation, notice and what is charged

Version 1, in force from September 8, 2026

Your teacher is paid whether or not a session happens. They are on our payroll, the hour was in their week, and it is not one they can sell to somebody else. That is the reason these charges exist, and it is the honest version of it. Cancellation goes through the portal: a message to your teacher is not a cancellation, and the notice period runs from when the portal recorded it.

  • Cancellation, substitution and no-show, for tutors

Version 1, in force from September 9, 2026

The same clock the family is held to, said from the tutor side, plus what happens to your pay. The learner-facing figures are identical on purpose: two versions of one deadline is how a family and a tutor come to believe different things about the same session.

  • Intensive package payment and refund

Version 1, in force from September 9, 2026

An intensive reserves tutor capacity and time-sensitive preparation, so the amounts and dates are set for each package and shown beside the pay button before you accept them. What is on this page is the part that does not change from one package to the next.

  • Late pickup

Version 1, in force from September 9, 2026

What happens when a child is collected after the scheduled time. It applies to Learning Center sessions and to Summer Academy, and the amount was already in both agreements: what was missing was when the clock starts.

  • Scheduling, cancellation, late arrival and no-show

Version 1, in force from September 9, 2026

What happens when a session is moved, missed or started late. These are the figures our Learning Center enrollment agreement refers to, and they come from the Attendance and Make-Up Policy you accept at enrollment.

  • Teacher search and placement fees

Version 1, in force from September 8, 2026

What a search costs, when each fee is earned, and what the guarantee is. These are the standard terms; your own search agreement carries the figures that apply to you and it is the one that controls.

  • When work is due

Version 1, in force from September 9, 2026

Nine documents told staff that something was due by "the configured deadline" and there was no configured deadline. A deadline somebody can be measured against has to be one they were told. These apply across tutoring, adult programs, the microschool and camp, so that one person is not working to a different clock from the person beside them.

  • Workshop registration and cancellation

Version 1, in force from September 9, 2026

Family Learning workshops are short and often run in a series, so the rules are short too. The price of a workshop is shown on its own page before you register.
