Returning to learning can bring excitement and uncertainty at the same time. Skhillz instructors are expected to communicate clearly, protect learner privacy, and connect lessons to what you are working toward.

    Some programs use a short assessment or consultation to identify a starting level.

    Schedule, cost, format, requirements, materials, support, and completion expectations.

    Complete registration, payment, technology setup, and orientation before the course begins.

Do I need to be a parent to participate?

No. Skhillz Adult & Continuing Education serves adults with many different goals and life circumstances.

Are classes only for people preparing for a GED?

No. High school equivalency preparation is one pathway. Adult programs may also include literacy, digital skills, AI, workforce readiness, financial learning, and entrepreneurship.

Is GED the only high school equivalency option?

The available examination depends on the learner's state and the programs Skhillz is prepared to support. Course pages identify the exact exam or pathway addressed.

Do I need strong computer skills?

No. Some programs are specifically designed to help adults build digital confidence. Each course page lists the technology required and the support available.

Will I receive a certificate?

Some courses may provide a certificate of completion. A completion certificate does not automatically represent college credit, occupational licensure, or an industry credential unless the course page expressly states and verifies that distinction.

Can my employer pay for my course?

Sponsored enrollment may be available for selected programs. Contact Skhillz before registration to request invoicing or sponsor instructions.

Where we are strict

A certificate anybody can check.

Ten contact hours is one continuing education unit. Every certificate we issue carries the hours the course actually ran and a code an employer can verify without an account.

If this is not quite it

Adults arrive here from four directions. Two of them belong somewhere else.

Nothing below is a lesser option. It is the department that actually answers the question, which is worth two minutes now rather than a consultation that ends with us saying the same thing.

Most of the people in these programs are fitting study around a job and a family. The programs are built for that, not adapted to it.
