Skhillz Academy, LLC is committed to an educational and working environment free from unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

1. Policy

Skhillz Academy does not unlawfully discriminate in admission, access, participation, employment, contracting, program administration, or services on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, citizenship or immigration status where protected, religion, creed, sex, pregnancy, childbirth or related condition, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, genetic information, marital or familial status, veteran or military status, language, socioeconomic status, or any other status protected by applicable law.

Program eligibility may lawfully consider age, grade, prerequisite skill, geographic availability, safety, licensing, capacity, or program purpose when the criterion is legitimate, consistently applied, and not a pretext for unlawful discrimination.

2. Equal Access and Accommodations

We provide reasonable modifications, auxiliary aids, and effective communication when required and do not impose unlawful eligibility criteria that screen out people with disabilities.

Accommodation requests may be sent to accessibility@skhillzacademy.org. The Accessibility Statement provides additional information.

3. Harassment

Harassment based on a protected characteristic is prohibited when it creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment, interferes with participation, or otherwise violates law or policy.

Examples may include slurs, stereotypes, mockery, threats, exclusion, offensive images, targeted misgendering, sexual harassment, unwanted sexual conduct, or discriminatory online behavior.

This Policy does not prohibit respectful, age-appropriate academic discussion or lawful expression. Skhillz Academy may set reasonable rules necessary for safety, learning, privacy, and respectful participation.

4. Retaliation

No person may retaliate against someone for requesting an accommodation, reporting discrimination, participating in an investigation, or exercising a protected right in good faith.

5. Reporting

Reports may be made through the portal or to:

  • General concerns: support@skhillzacademy.org
  • Accessibility concerns: accessibility@skhillzacademy.org
  • Child safety concerns: safeguarding@skhillzacademy.org
  • Legal concerns: legal@skhillzacademy.org

Include names, dates, communications, witnesses, and requested resolution when available. Anonymous reports may be reviewed, but limited information can restrict the response.

6. Response

Skhillz Academy will assess the concern promptly, use impartial decision-making, protect privacy as reasonably possible, and take proportionate corrective action when warranted. Interim safety or access measures may be used before a final decision.

Consequences may include education, accommodation, restorative action, content removal, participation restrictions, discipline, suspension, termination, or referral to another authority.

7. Institutional and Workforce Application

Schools, organizations, contractors, vendors, employees, volunteers, and guests must comply with this Policy when providing or accessing Skhillz Academy Services. Separate employment, contracting, or institutional procedures may also apply.

8. No Waiver of Rights

Internal reporting does not eliminate or delay a person’s right to contact a government agency or pursue another lawful remedy.
