Skhillz Education Workforce Solutions

The roleis open. The class is not.

Education professionals for schools and learning organizations: paraprofessionals, teachers, tutors, interventionists, program staff and leadership.

Skhillz Education Workforce Solutions is building its network of education organizations and professionals. Schools may submit workforce inquiries, and education professionals may join the talent network for future consideration.

Who does what

Powered by 808 Talent Source.

Skhillz Academy is the education-facing front door. The workforce service itself is operated by 808 Talent Source: recruiting, screening, references, background checks, placement agreements, and employment or contractor administration.

This matters on paper, not just in principle. Your workforce agreement, your invoices, and the privacy notice a candidate receives will name 808 Talent Source as the responsible party, and the two sets of records are kept apart inside our systems, not merely labeled differently.

Which side of this are you on?

The process, the promises and the paperwork are different depending on the answer, so pick one and the page follows you.

Listed because schools ask for them, not because a person is sitting ready for every one. What we can source today is a straight answer on the first call.

How the work is structured

Seven ways to engage somebody.

Direct hire
We recruit and refer; you employ them.
Contract or project
A defined project, deliverable or period, under the right agreement.
Temporary or seasonal
Leave coverage, summer programming, enrollment periods, vacancies.
Part-time or fractional
Ongoing capacity when the role is not a full-time role.
On-demand
Prequalified people for defined needs, subject to availability.
Managed team
A coordinated group running an agreed function, with oversight and outcomes.
Talent pipeline
Ongoing sourcing for roles you fill again and again.

Nobody is labeled an independent contractor because it suits a budget. Classification follows the actual working relationship and the law that applies to it, and we will say so even when it is the more expensive answer.

For schools

What happens after you ask.

  1. InquiryYou tell us the role, the setting and the timeline.
  2. DiscoveryWe confirm supervision, budget, procurement and the legal model before sourcing anybody.
  3. Plan and agreementYou receive the service model, fees, screening terms, replacement terms and the agreement.
  4. SearchThe approved role is entered and sourcing begins.
  5. Candidate reviewYou see qualified candidates and interview the ones you want.
  6. ClearanceScreening and your own clearance requirements are completed before a start date is set.
  7. OnboardingYour policies, your systems, your expectations, with training available if you want it.
  8. ContinuationCheck-ins, performance support, and replacement terms if it is not working.

Screening

Nobody starts until the checks are done.

Screening is set by the role, not by the calendar. Anything involving contact with children carries background screening, safeguarding acknowledgments and any clearance your district requires, and none of it is skipped because a start date is close.

We do not describe anybody as fully vetted. That phrase means nothing unless every check is named, completed and current, so we tell you which checks were run for that person, when, and who verified them.

Request education professionals.

Four fields to start a conversation. The role details help, and you can add them now or on the call.

This goes to 808 Talent Source, which operates the workforce service. Sending it does not create a contract or guarantee that candidates are available.

Tell us about the gap before it becomes the plan.

Start with the role, the setting, the timeline and what is actually hard about it. The workforce team will identify the responsible service model before a search begins, and say plainly what can be sourced in your market.

What we will not say

No promises we cannot keep.

  • Sending a request does not create a contract, and does not guarantee that candidates are available.
  • Joining the network does not guarantee an interview, a placement or employment.
  • Completing training does not guarantee placement, and we will not imply that it does.
  • Terms, the employing or contracting party, pay and benefits are given to you in writing before you agree to anything, never in a job advert alone.
