The portal opens to families as each program comes online. Enrolled families receive access during onboarding.

How information is protected

The portal holds information about minors, so access is limited by design.

  • Role-based access and least-privilege permissions
  • Multifactor authentication for staff
  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Audit history on sensitive records
  • Tutor notes separated by visibility level
  • Parents control optional permissions and can revoke them

Tutors see the instructional and safety information they need for their assigned students. Payment records, custody documents, administrator notes, and safeguarding records are restricted separately.

Questions

Questions people actually ask.

Do I need an account to browse programs?

No. You can explore every public page without an account. An account is created when you begin an application, register, or need access to protected records.

Can both guardians have access?

The household account maintains legal guardians, billing contact, and authorized contacts, with access according to role.

Will my child have a login?

Student access is optional and age-appropriate. When enabled, students see their schedule, assignments, goals, and feedback, and cannot change agreements, payments, or permissions.

Which programs use the portal?

Eligible programs, starting with the Learning Center and the Virtual Microschool. Each program page states whether portal access is included.

Where we are strict

Nothing has to be explained twice.

The tutor, the microschool teacher and the college advisor are reading the same record. A family that moves between programs does not start over.

What a parent actually sees.

Schedules, attendance, goals, session notes, documents, messages and payments. In one place, and only the parts your role gives you.

Enrolled families receive portal access during onboarding.
