The teaching standard
Nobody assumes you already know.
Instructors explain unfamiliar tools rather than talking over them. If a step involves a menu, somebody shows you the menu.
Activities connect to something you are actually trying to do, and you get to demonstrate what you can do rather than being told you have covered it. That is the difference between a course you finished and a skill you have.
The boundary
What finishing a course does and does not do.
Completing a Skhillz course does not guarantee employment, a promotion, a wage, benefits, recognition of a credential, or acceptance by any employer or third party.
It gives you the skill and a record of the hours. What an employer does with that is theirs, and we would rather say so than let a certificate carry more weight in your mind than it carries in a hiring meeting.
