Late pickup

What happens when a child is collected after the scheduled time. It applies to Learning Center sessions and to Summer Academy, and the amount was already in both agreements: what was missing was when the clock starts.

Before the fee starts
15 minutesAfter the scheduled release time. Fifteen minutes is the same allowance used everywhere else here, and traffic is not a discipline matter.
Then, for every commenced 30 minutes
$25Charged to the account, never collected in cash and never collected by the person teaching.
Who handles it
Authorized staff, through the account. A tutor, teacher or camp counselor never takes money from a family, never waives a fee, and never negotiates a side arrangement.
Waiving it
An administrator may waive a fee only through a documented exception that records who approved it and why. A quiet waiver for one family is an unrecorded charge for the next.
When something has genuinely gone wrong
Tell us. An accident, a breakdown or an emergency is not a late collection, and we will not charge for one. A child is never left waiting alone whatever the reason, and we will not stop caring for them over a fee.
When it keeps happening
A conversation first, then a safety plan or a required conference, and only then any suspension of in-person services. It is treated as something to solve rather than something to bill for.

A published term does not change in place. If a figure here changes, we publish a new version and the old one stays readable, because somebody agreed to it. Questions go to support@skhillzacademy.org or 888-429-5094.
