Intensive package payment and refund

An intensive reserves tutor capacity and time-sensitive preparation, so the amounts and dates are set for each package and shown beside the pay button before you accept them. What is on this page is the part that does not change from one package to the next.

Price, dates, sessions and what is included
Set for each package and displayed at checkout beside the pay button, before you authorize anything: the total, the amount due today, the billing frequency, the next charge date, the hours and sessions included, the fixed schedule, the capacity reserved and the expiration. Nothing is charged that was not on that screen.
Refund class
Nonrefundable. Amounts paid under an intensive or a payment plan, and annual prepayments, are not refunded, except where a right that cannot be waived applies or where Skhillz cancels without providing the remedy it disclosed.
Unused or missed sessions
Unused sessions, missed sessions, scheduling inactivity, withdrawal, or dissatisfaction not caused by a material failure on our side do not create a refund, a credit or a transfer right.
Withdrawing part way through
A properly completed withdrawal stops installments scheduled after the effective date, unless the agreement states that the installments divide a fixed obligation, which has to be disclosed before enrollment. Amounts already due remain payable.
If Skhillz cancels
We may not keep payment for something we canceled by pointing at the nonrefundable label. Where we do not provide the substitute, credit or reschedule we disclosed, you receive an appropriate refund or credit for the undelivered part.
Rescheduling within the package
The scheduling, late arrival and no-show rules are the Learning Center ones, and an intensive does not get looser ones because it costs more.
Failed payment attempts before access is suspended
3Access may be restricted during collection.
Failed or returned payment charge
$35Or our reasonable permitted cost, or the jurisdictional maximum, whichever is lowest. It is never used as a penalty.
A disputed charge

A published term does not change in place. If a figure here changes, we publish a new version and the old one stays readable, because somebody agreed to it. Questions go to support@skhillzacademy.org or 888-429-5094.
