Workshop registration and cancellation
Family Learning workshops are short and often run in a series, so the rules are short too. The price of a workshop is shown on its own page before you register.
- Notice to cancel a place
- 48 hoursBefore the workshop starts. Earlier helps us offer the place to somebody on the waiting list.
- If you cancel in time
- A credit toward another workshop, or a refund of what you paid for that session if you would rather. Ask, and we do it.
- If you cancel late or do not come
- The place is charged. A workshop runs on the people in the room, and a late cancellation is a seat nobody else could take.
- Arriving late
- Come anyway. A workshop is not a session you forfeit for being late, and nobody will comment on it.
- Sending somebody else
- Another adult from your household may take your place at no charge. Tell us the name beforehand so the facilitator knows who is in the room.
- Withdrawing from a series
- Sessions already held are charged. Future sessions in the series are credited or refunded.
- Minimum enrollment to run a workshop
- 4Below that we reschedule rather than run a session that will not work, and we tell you before the day rather than on it.
- If Skhillz cancels or reschedules
- A place in the rescheduled session, a place in another workshop, or a full refund. Your choice, not ours.
- Weather, closure or a virtual outage
- Treated the same as a cancellation by us. Nothing is charged for a session that did not happen, and nothing is held against you for one you could not reach.
A published term does not change in place. If a figure here changes, we publish a new version and the old one stays readable, because somebody agreed to it. Questions go to support@skhillzacademy.org or 888-429-5094.
