Camp tuition, cancellation and refund

Camp is staffed and provisioned from the enrollment list, so the schedule below gets firmer as the start approaches. All of it is disclosed before you pay.

What is nonrefundable from the start

Any registration or deposit portion identified as nonrefundable at checkout. It is named on the screen before you pay, and it is what holds the place.

Cancel this far ahead for a refund of tuition

30 daysBefore the first day of the session, less any nonrefundable registration portion.

Cancel this far ahead for a credit

14 daysBetween 14 and 30 days before the session, tuition becomes a credit toward another session rather than a refund. Inside 14 days the staffing and provisioning are committed and tuition is not refunded.

Days your child does not attend

Not refunded and not credited. Camp is staffed for the child whether or not they come, which is the same reason the ratio holds on the days they do.

Enrolling after a session starts

Where there is a place, tuition is charged for the days remaining rather than for the whole session.

Withdrawing for a medical reason

With documentation, a credit for the unused days whatever the schedule above says. A child who is unwell should not be at camp, and the fee should not be the reason they are.

Dismissal for behavior or safety

No refund for the remaining days. The step is not taken lightly and never without the conversations that come first, which are recorded.

Weather or emergency closure

A credit for each day we cannot open. Where we cannot offer a comparable replacement day, it is a refund.

If Skhillz cancels the session

A full refund including any nonrefundable portion, or a place in another session. The nonrefundable label does not survive our own cancellation.

Moving to another session

Free where there is a place, up to 14 days before the session you are leaving. After that it follows the cancellation schedule above.

Failed payment attempts before a place is released

3We tell you between attempts. A place is never released without somebody trying to reach you first.
