How it works

  1. Pick a skill

Start with the subject you need to pass. Each skill lists how many questions are waiting for you.

  2. Answer and learn

Every answer is checked at once. A wrong answer shows what went wrong, how to fix it, and the method step by step.

  3. Watch your readiness

Each subject shows where you stand: not yet, close, or likely to pass. It updates as you practice.

This is a real GED Math practice question, with answer A picked. Press Español to see it the way a Spanish-speaking student does. The answer and the steps stay the same.

Percentages

A theater sold 360 tickets for a play. Of these tickets, 15% were student tickets. How many student tickets did the theater sell?

  • A5.4
  • B24
  • C54
  • D306

Not quite

What went wrong

You wrote 15% as 0.015.

How to fix it

Percent means per hundred, so 15% = 0.15. Then 0.15 × 360 = 54.

How to solve it

  1. Write 15% as a decimal: 0.15.
  2. Multiply by the total: 0.15 × 360 = 54.

Correct answer: C. 54

15% of 360 is 0.15 × 360 = 54.

Questions

What does GED Practice cover?

Math and Reasoning Through Language Arts are open now. Math has 402 questions across 15 skills, a timed practice test built like the real one, and a free diagnostic. Language Arts has 561 questions across 13 reading and writing skills, a timed practice test with the essay, and a free diagnostic. Science and Social Studies are added to the same plan as each one is ready, at no extra cost.

Is there a free test I can take first?

Yes, one for each open subject. The free GED Math diagnostic is 20 questions in 40 minutes, with Part 1 done without a calculator. The free Language Arts diagnostic is 22 questions in 45 minutes on three passages. Both are timed like the real test, and you see your readiness for each skill as soon as you finish. Each is free once every 30 days.

Is it in Spanish?

Yes. Every question, every answer choice and every explanation is in English and Spanish. One button switches between them at any time, even after you answer.

How much is it?

$199 for a full year, one payment. It does not renew. It covers every subject for the whole year.

Who can buy it?

An adult learner buys it for themselves. A parent can buy it for a teen on their account.

Does it tell me if I am ready to pass?

Each subject shows a readiness band from your practice: not yet, close, or likely to pass. It is a guide from your answers, not an official score.

Can I get help from a person too?

Yes. Skhillz offers GED coaching, one to one or in a small group. You can ask about it from the GED sign-up form.
