Summer Academy runs in several formats, and they do not carry the same requirements. A virtual workshop does not need what a full-day in-person camp needs, and neither needs what an off-site experience needs. You are given the information and the forms for the program you actually chose.
The principle
Permissions are program-specific, not standing.
Transportation, field trips, swimming, medication, recording, portfolio display, a showcase and promotional media are separate permissions. Each one is asked for only when the program actually involves it, is optional wherever the law allows it to be, and can be withdrawn.
Ticking something once does not grant it for every future program. A family who agreed to a photograph at one workshop has not agreed to a photograph forever, and the system does not treat them as though they have.

What each one covers.
- Registration and authority
- A parent, legal guardian or authorized organization registers a child and confirms they may. Minors do not register themselves.
- Arrival and authorized release
- For in-person programs: the procedure, who may collect, what identification is asked for, what happens if somebody is late, and the emergency contacts.
- Health and emergency information
- Only what is needed for safe participation. Medication, allergy, emergency, accommodation and personal care processes match the real program rather than a general form.
- Activity-specific permissions
- Transportation, trips, swimming, recording, portfolio, showcase and promotional media, each asked separately and only where relevant.
- Technology and online participation
- For virtual programs: the device, the connection, the account, the supervision expected and the platform, all before you register rather than on the first morning.
- Attendance, conduct and communication
- The attendance, make-up, conduct, safeguarding, communication, refund and withdrawal terms, given before paid checkout rather than after.
Before you pay

A registration-ready program page identifies the age range, the schedule, the supervision, the arrival and release procedure, the technology, the materials, the location, the activity permissions, the price and the final project, before a family pays anything.
If a program page is missing one of those, the program is not ready to sell and it will say so rather than take a payment and work it out later.
