We do not choose a future for the student.
We help the student investigate the options, understand what each one requires, do their own work, and make a better-informed decision than they could have made alone.
That distinction is not a disclaimer. It changes what the sessions are: the student leaves with the thinking, the calendar and the drafts, because those are the things still useful after we are gone.

Your work stays yours.
The student is responsible for the truthfulness, the authorship, the approval and the submission of everything in their application. We coach, review, organize and give feedback.
We do not become the applicant, write the essay, complete or submit work as though it were ours, act as an admissions or financial aid official, or guarantee admission.
